Bullet Journal

Welcome

This started out as a site for hosting my policing-related blogs. Then I realized it could be about so much more. So, here goes. On here, you'll find research blogs, versions of my various papers and links to all of my podcasts, etc. I hope you find some of this useful.

A BIT ABOUT ME

Having founded the Canadian Society of Evidence Based Policing in 2015, I now sit as the Chair of its Advisory Council. I am also a (Full) Professor of Sociology at the University of Western Ontario, a member of the College of New Scholars of the Royal Society of Canada, a Senior Research Fellow with the (US) National Police Foundation, and the Research Fellow for both the London and Barriee Police Services. In my spare time, I run #CrimComm with my colleague Prof. Aili Malm.

And, if you're not convinced I may know a little something about policing and crime, I can tell you that I'm also a member of the Canadian Council of Academies' Expert Panel on the Future of Canadian Policing and I have sat on numerous boards and working groups related to community safety.
