WELCOME TO "DEAR LAURA ..."
Find Out What You Didn't Know about Policing Research or Wanted to Know But Were Afraid to Ask!
Welcome to "Dear Laura", a site dedicated to exploring the current state of research on Canadian policing issues. Why "Dear Laura..."? In my role as the Director of the Canadian Society of Evidence Based Policing, I am routinely asked for my knowledge/opinion of the research evidence for different police practices, programs and policies. In the attached pages, I have created blog posts containing answers to some of those questions. I hope you find this fun and informative.
